Licence - Proscription of use (Intellectual Property Rights)

Your Travel Diary allows the right of access to yourtraveldiary.com website only for informative, non-commercial personal use.

No material (including text, videos, images, photos, URLs, pricing information, etc.) can be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcasted, transmitted, make available to the public in any form and through any means, without the prior written permission of Your Travel Diary.

The user must respect all intellectual property rights concerning the materials, as for instance copyright, rights afferent to trade marks and other intellectual property rights or intellectual deprivation, owned by Your Travel Diary and of whom the customer doesn't acquire any entitlement.

All the Materials of this Website are protected by the copyright defined by the expression "ALL RIGHTS ARE RESERVED" owned by Your Travel Diary and by its affiliates and/or Partners and/or of third party licensees.

The user cannot sell, commercialize, distribute the contents of the website or create works and/or materials contained/derived from yourtraveldiary.com materials.

Claims of copyright violation and User's responsibility for his/fer conduct

Your Travel Diary respects the intellectual property rights of third parties. Where the user thinks that his/her work has been copied and uploaded on Your Travel Diary.com website, constituting a copyright violation, he/she must provide the Your Travel Diary responsible with the written documentation which follows:

  • Signature of the person who has the authorization to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Description of the copyrighted work that the user thinks to be violated.
  • Indication of the precise position in the website of the copyrighted material that the user deems violated.
  • Users declaration of good faith concerning the fact that the contested use was not allowed by the copyright holder, by the claimant or by law.
  • Users declaration that the above information is correct and that the user is the only copyright holder or that he has the authorization to act on behalf of the copyright holder.
  • The user agrees to relieve and indemnify Your Travel Diary from any pretence, action, claim, loss or damage (included legal fees) put forward or proposed by third parties and which derives from the users conduct, from the violation of the conditions of use or third party's rights.

The user is allowed a limited and not exclusive right to create a link to his/her website as long as this website does not represent Your Travel Diary or that one or more of his/her products and/or services does not represent Your Travel Diary in a false, defamatory, or misleading manner or in any manner which discredits Your Travel Diary. The user can not use the logos or other graphic elements , as visual link to the website, without the prior written consent of Your Travel Diary. The authorization of use can be revoked at all times.

The link will have to redirect to the homepage of the website and it has to be clear that the website and its contents don't have any relation to the website which contains the link.

Applicable laws and legal court

Any controversy derived or connected to the execution of terms and conditions of use will be passed on to the exclusive jurisdiction of the legal court of Milan.


The following conditions are applicable to all of our programs. Specific conditions are detailed in each specific program. Please, read them carefully.

Reservations

Acceptance reservations are subject to availability at the moment of request. If Your Travel Diary is able to provide the service Your Travel Diary will then produce a booking confirmation of the details regarding the booking, by email.

Payments

40% due at the reservation and 60% is due 30 days before arrival.

No grace periods will be allowed. Failure of the Client to pay the final balance within the term set forth above will constitute cancellation of the confirmation with no refund due.

Cancellations

Hotel bookings:

  • within 61 days prior to arrival 20% of the total amount due is not refundable;
  • between 60 and 22 days prior to arrival 50% of the total amount due is not refundable;
  • within 21 days prior to arrival or in case of no show 100% of the total amount due is not refundable.

All other services:

  • within 31 days prior to arrival no penalty will be charged;
  • between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival 30% of the total amount due is not refundable;
  • between 14 and 08 days prior to arrival 50% of the total amount due is not refundable;
  • within 7 days prior to arrival or in case of no show 100% of the total amount due is not refundable.

Refounds and Claims

Refund are not made for any missed service, unused sightseeing trips or meals. In case of problems notify it to the local supplier who will endeavor to put things right.

If this is unsatisfactory please contact us immediately by calling the office.

If for any reason you are still unsatisfied, you must obtain written confirmation by the supplier and follow this up by writing to us with detail of your complain.

Any claims accompanied by supporting documentation must be received in writing within 20 days of the termination of the tour.

Any adjustment will be based only on the actual cost of the services involved.

The contract is governed by Italian law and in case of dispute that we cannot settle amicably, exclusive jurisdiction is conferred on the Italian court.

Changes

All changes requests received between the date of the service confirmation and until 30 days prior to the date of the service will be considered as a complimentary service, free of charge. For changes requests received within 30 days of the date of the service, Your Travel Diary will require a change fee per each adjustment and may require additional fees for museum ticket changes.

Due to extraordinary or to unforeseen circumstances, hotel accommodation, sightseeing, cooking classes, wine tours, guided tours, transfers, are subject to change.

Passports and Visas

Check with your foreign consulate, embassy and passport agency for the latest visa requirements.

Valid passports are required for all passengers.

Insurance

We strongly suggest to provide your own travel insurance to protect yourself and your travel investment and to ensure peace of mind, before, during and after your trip.

Also we recommend a medical and personal insurance to cover medical expenses and loss of baggage or personal belonging.
